Well, it's been a year this week since the wee bundle of joy that is Eilidh was delivered to our door by our Guru, Mr Melville.
I wondered at the time why he seemed so keen to rehome his foster-gal, then named Switch. She was the perfect lady; quiet and inquisitive...until 5 hours passed, the horns came out and Satan once again walked the Earth!! LOL
It's no secret that she gave us a bit of a hard time at first. She was an eight month old pup, who, until she went to stay with Dave had no experience of life as we know it. It was a hard slog to get her used to the big, wide world and socialise her and there were tears and tantrums (mostly from me) along the way.
Now though, I look at her lying beside me in bed at night and I wonder where Satan was banished to. She is the most lovable, cute, fantastically fun girlie, who every day makes me glad to have her (except maybe at times like just now when I realise she isn't actually chewing her toy but my good boot).
I can't believe that a whole year has passed, nor can I believe the change in Eilidh. It's thanks to GAL folk like Carole Robinson who gave me and Iain excellent advice that she has grown up into a beautiful girl. I am now sure that Eilidh or 'noble' was the correct choice of name.
And, although I never thought in the early days that I'd say this, a huge thanks to Dave for giving me my baba.
Congratulations to you, Iain and Eilidh! I'll bet a year has never passed so quick - and what a difference in her each time I see her. She's a wee poppet and you've every right to be the proud mama.
Happy "Gotcha" day Eilidh!! you are such a special little girl with a special forever home now....2 lovely brothers too look after you & all the sardines you can eat (hint hint mum!!).....enjoy it all !
Love Suzanne, Murphy & Maisie xxx

Congratulations Carol and family. You should be very proud of yourselves for bringing out the best in Eilidh - specially when it was so well hidden at the start!
Congratulations on your 'Gotcha' day Eilidh aren't your mum and day lucky to have you. Hope to see you on Sunday at S/Clyde Park for kisses and hugs! xx
