On Friday night Lulu and Douglas were let out in the garden for their last pee. Douglas came back in a few minutes but no Lulu. After a bit of calling and shouting she returned with her head split open, right between the eyes. I suspect that she went after either a Fox or a Cat in the garden and ran into a branch or a tree. After a quick patch up with germolene, elastoplast and a pain killer she managed to sleep. An emergency visit to the Vet on Saturday resulted in 5 stiches, a shaven forehead and a bill for another £65. This is the second time Lulu has needed stiches since I got her in January. I have a big garden and both dogs love to run around it. I don't like the idea of keeping them on a lead at all times so I supose the only solution is one of Esther's dog coats in chainmail. Ho Hum.

Thanks for your kind words everyone. Lulu is actually OK, but it looks bad. I've to take her back to the VET on Monday to have the stiches taken out and once it heals fully and the hair grows back it won't look that bad.

Snap is asking if Lulu has had a face lift like herself. Just keep the head scarf and large dark glasses on for a few days. They won't notice then you can and meet the public with your new face.
