I was having a major clear up in my lounge - my precious books going to OXFAM well that's another story!
I thought I'd listen to Classical Fm - well my chilled hounds were mega mega mega chilled out. It was relaxation hour on Classic - I ploughed on with my clear up . Hounds were all sprawled out! Not seen them all so chilled - a wee tip then!
So what do your hounds enjoy????? Rock, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pop, New Age?
I was in mood for Classic FM tonight - But boy it had a mega chilling impact on the hounds! Tounges hanging out etc - think I'll be playing lot more when I want things to settle!
Charles
ps but hounds will prob want disco / club stuff later seeing it's Saturday - will bouncers knock me back if i have hounds in tow-
I love Classical FM and often listen to it, so my wee pups will grow up to appreciate good music. I am also a big fan of violin music and a fav of mine is a chap called Gary Lovini, he has a web site and I often play the pups his music. Some times they sing along.....I think they make up the words though... and sometimes they just relax!!
Believe it or not, our lot listen to bagpipe music (well our son's a piper and has to practice somewhere!!!!!!). On reflection, could this be why Cookie's the way he is?? (if you don't know Cookie, ask Rachel what he's like!) If I'm travelling with them on my own, we also listen to Status Quo, which seems to suit them (all headbangers together, then!!!!) - giving my age away now, eh no?
As wee Janie is not good with loud noises when it comes to the firework month she is always a mess, nothing works, so we put her in the car with Beethoven up loud and drive for miles and miles and miles, last year we clocked up about 250miles but had 1 very chilled out dog in the car. And although janie loves her sleep when classical music is on the house (as long as no loud noises) she slips into and even deeper sleep!!!
Would def say to anyone to give it a try, the music that is not the miles and miles in the car
