Can someone get back to me on this who's dog has experienced this problem- i don't know how worried i should be. My 14 month old Lurcher, Seamus, started to act very strangely since Sunday morning. His lower abdomen and back legs were shaking quite badly, and his stomach felt quite solid- he also seems to be really lethargic and did not want to run around or play. He seems to have problems getting upstairs and getting into the car boot- like its sore or something and he yelped when i accidentally bumped into him- i was really surprised he yelped as i hardly touched him. i was starting to worry about bloat- however he has managed to 'go' no problems, and he is eating just fine, and its now been about 24 hours. He is still shaking and was reluctant to go for his morning walk- which normally he is very enthusiastic about. The only thing i can think is that on Saturday night he was pork chops for dinner. and he had two of the pork chop bones...

Lizzie, I know there will be others that may have opinions on this and may not manage to write on the forum till later, but my immediate reaction is to get him to a vet to get him checked out ASAP!

Yip,

I agree with Lita that medical attention is required urgently.
