Hiya! My names Sarah as you've probably guessed and I'm glad to say I'm new to the GAL forum. I moved to London with my husband Mark 5 years ago although I used to live in Falkirk beforehand. I do enjoy living in London but I miss bonnie Scotland an awful lot.
Anyway, enough of me boring you with my snooze-inducing past lets get to the main subject lol. I have 3 dogs, 2 greyhounds called Megan and Olivia and 1 Shetland Sheepdog called Zack. Not to mention my cat,Al. So a pretty big family of animals along with a big family of humans. Takes a lot of work y'know but dogs are such rewarding animals they are grateful for every thing you do for them. I've had Megs for nearly 6 years,Olie for 3 and Zack for 1. Megan was from an Animal Sanctuary in Scotland. She was 3 years old when I got her. Such a poor fragile little thing physically and emotionally. You should see the little madam now! You wouldn't think it was the same dog. Olie was from a sanctuary here in London, Zack also. They are wonderul, wonderful dogs and like nothing better than lying snuggled up on the couch next to you.
Sorry for going ON and ON but I care very deeply for these amazing dogs and could talk about them for hours !But be warned, this is only an Introduction

Hi Sarah and welcome to the forum, it nice to meet you and your gang. Looking forward to hearing all the stories and antics they get up to. I am mum to wee janie a stunning brindle bitch (well i would say that, but she is) i got her when she was 3 she is now 6 and is the most loving wee scone..
Welcome to the forum ! Your dogs sound really lovely, and although I love greyhounds to bits I don't actually have a grey. We WERE going to get one but didn't want to risk our cat with ANY kind of dog so we had to get a puppy so we were CERTAIN they would get on.Shes wee Tara and shes a gorgeous wee golden retriever.(5 months now) And things couldn't be better!
I really, really hope to find a suitable greyhound in the near future
Enjoy your time on the forum meeting great ppl and I look forward to hearing tales of your dogs!
Welcome to the forum - you sound just as besotted with your dogs as we all are. We have the very handsome lurcher boy, Vegas as part of our family, who we got from GAL over 2 years ago. It'll be great to hear all about you and your gang in London and getting to know what they've all been up to.
