Katrina, you need to put a matching bandage on Missy then you REALLY wouldn't be able to tell em apart and I'm no interior designer but they even match yer couch!!

Oooooooo! Thats an idea
Could train Missy to lift her leg also ..... so you could have the matching pair peeing on your leg !!!
Oh and YES I do TRY to co-ordinate !!!! A Brindle just wouldn't go with the sofa you know !!!

That's made me snort coffee all over the monitor!
They're just gorgeous. Made for each other, and no mistake.
Are all of you hinting that I should keep Zak ????
1. They have slept together (shocking I know) 2. They are a matching pair 3. They actually go very well with my ONLY two seater sofa. Who needs an interior designer !!!!!! 4. Can't even put my boots on without getting laid on ( NOT LAID I may add )
Guys, stop, it's giving me a warm fuzzy feeling all over to see how hard you are all trying to persuade Zak to adopt Katrina (ahem..) I'm SO proud of you all. You'll know that as the Homing Co-Ordinator I need to keep a modicum of impartiality and not do the hard sell on anyone (yip, never done the hard sell, no siree, not me)......now, Zak Young, doesn't that just sound like a pop stars name, it would be a real shame if I homed him to a family called, erm, McDuff or summit (sorry all the McDuff's out there) doesn't quite roll off the tongue...
I mean you can't change fate can you?. We all know that it would be terrible to separate Zak and Missy now - they are soul mates, it wouldn't be right, would it?
No pressure from me , I just feel like I am stating a fact.
I know from the postings, you have done a great job Katrina of fostering dogs and preparing them for their forever homes - and perhaps in some cases the dogs wouldn't have got permanent home without a review of their behaviour/personality, etc so it's a big decision to foster/adopt
It's something I can't do, as we've kept both ours (and won't foste,r as I can't say goodbye to them).
So whatever you decide, to foster or keep Zak, I know you will decide what is best for you all - and it is sooo difficult to pass them on to other folk
-- big well done to all those who foster and develop the personality of the hounds, and are brave enough to pass them onto new owners who benefit from all the love they have been shown.
So, if you keep Zac, how cool is that! If not, what a laid-back dog for his permanent home!
You are thinking seriously about it. But you are also thinking about the Christmas Day and how many more wins you could get with Zak , making your already beautiful family even more beautiful Aren't you?????
However, the final decision will not be made until after his neutering. This is because Maverick changed for the worse after his op and I just want to see how Zak copes after his.
Its NOT that we want to go for another win at a Gala (cough cough!) but Zak as you all say is JUST AN ABSOLUTE SWEETIE and has fitted in with us SO WELL. Might win Happiest Family again - you just NEVER know. For all those going for the same category (if its running)..... two adults, two kids, 3 rats, 2 fish, 4 hounds and a partridge in a pear tree !! Oh and yes there are 5 minded kids aswell.
Wasn't it once said that you shouldn't work with kids and animals..... ? Guess I'm a glutten for punishment then.
