Hi Folks, well most of you probably know me so this is for the benefit of the 'newbies'!

I'm the homing co-ordinator for the Greyhound Awareness League so if you want to know anything about the GAL dogs (or want to adopt or foster one!!) gimme a shout! Me, 'the wife' Glenda and our pack live 'in the sticks' near Lanark.

My current 'pack' consists of the following (in order of arrival) -

ARCHIE, 5yr old Black & White Whippet / Collie Cross - he's still a wee pup at heart.

RUBY, 6yr old White and Brindle Greyhound - she's the 'boss'.

GEORGE, 8yr old Back Whippet/Staffie Cross - he's the gobby one.

WIZARD, 9yr old Brindle Greyhound/Saluki Cross - he's almost blind now but copes very well.

IVOR, 6yr old White Greyhound - Ruby's sister.

SUZY, 13yr old Brindle Greyhound - she's quite a character and I so wish I'd know her when she was younger.

REBEL, 3yrs old Tan 'cross breed' - has HUGE ears.

can't forget the cats either! SIX (aged 13) ZED (aged 9) and SPANNER (aged 8)

and a final mention to the ones past to Rainbow Bridge - MAISIE (our mad lurcher girl), EDDIE (my soul mate, he's my avatar), LUCY (who past away before her time), GERRY (who's black coat turned Silver in his later years to match his racing name Ballintoy Silver), BRANDY (Elegant Brandy by his racing name and every bit the gentleman), MARK (SUZY'S kennel mate through 7 years of hell before GAL found them both) WEE JACKY (the very old blind Jack Russell Glenda took pity on one day and who bossed the hounds summit rotten) and finally WEE YIN (our wee cat who could tell a catsafe Greyhound from a mile away)...
