Just received word today that GAL has once again been chosen as one of 3 charities to benefit from the Glasgow Vet School Rodeo next year....This is a great boost for GAL (and the other 2 charities invloved) and should swell our cofffers to the tune of several thousand pounds. The Rodeo this year takes place on the 29th of April so check the events page nearer the time for more info!...

Just be careful ... you can pick up nice dogs at the Rodeo.  Last year I went with two and came home with three!!!

Yeah Carol - I remember that, too! But how could anyone resist Whistler? He was so much admired and behaved beautifully.

I'll definitely be marking my calendar for this GREAT day out. It's one not to miss!

Christine

ps BRILL news, Dave, that GAL is to benefit from the event! What a super boost to the funds!

Fantastic news, the vet school have come up trumps again!

My beloved first greyhound Kaz came from the vet school, where he had been loved and looked after for many a year by the staff there.  Kaz is my avatar, my first ever GH and who was my best friend in the whole world.  A year after I got Kaz I went to the Rodeo and lots of the vets came up saying "Hi Kaz", but in true GH style he just gave them that aloof look they have, and looked the other way.

Its good to know they didnt take offence at his reaction, but after all he was enjoying his new life in retirement.

That's fabulous news!!! Thanks heaps to the Glasgow Vet School.

(There was me thinking that you were going to say that you loved them cos they'd finally released our Suzanne back into the realms of the GAL forum..... )
