What is Santa bringing our Pooches this Xmas
Permalink Closed

Well what I've heard from Santa he's bringing a new toy to each doggy along with a rather large chew bone each and also some new rather chic house coats.

Santa also said that we are to give all the pooches some of the Christmas Dinner leftovers.

Anyone else heard from Santa about what your doggies are getting from him this year ?

Well............Molly had already made out her list for Santa Paws early...and it went something like this......new collar, pigs ears, new bed, pigs ears, Sunday collar, pigs ears, chocolates, pigs ears....and of course....pigs ears!

Caspar says he'll settle for turkey...and we can have the leftovers!!!

(Santa Paws is actually bringing them both new collars from the States and squeaky toys for Cas.....they already have the bed....it arrived last week and they were both on it before I could smuggle it upstairs!!

Not much room under the tree for our pressies!!

The short answer is: FAR TOO MUCH!

The long answer is: new winter coats each (hopefully!), a Christmas stocking each, a box of home-made turkey and cranberry cookies, a box of doggy-choccie Santas, a squeaky toy each, a tuggy Santa (courtesy of the GAL shop last Sunday), a soft frisbee Santa, a rawhide stocking stuffed with crunchy yummies each, a selection pack of doggy-cookies each. (Crivvens, I never realised it was quite so much! )

Please don't anyone tell Steve!!!

Maisies xmas pressie was waiting for us when we got home tonight! woohooo - a lovely donut bed from Ebay! she actually helped me open the packaging & went donuts herself when she saw it - she is presently (no pun intended) curled up in it! It totally swamps her - reckon Murf can prob fit in too!

Hes not getting one just yet as he likes to sleep sprawled out, so until he can prove he can curl up like a cat, he will just have to suffice with the 3 seater sofa all to himself....tough, i know...!!

Apart from that - they both got new jammies (oops - already wearing them), Santa outfits each so we can suprise mum & dad on xmas day (a guaranteed chippolata & turkey winner!), they both can unwrap their squeeky monkeys on xmas day & the rest of the family have been ordered to buy them edible treats galore!

Boy....,must stop spending.....

btw - added photos above - Maisies new bed is an X Large - but dont panic - she is Xtra small!! - just a wee snip at 22kg - so I reckon an XL should fit virtually all Greys & Lurchers out there - they are sooo comfy Im tempted to get one for myself!

I'm quite surprised none of your dogs have been hounding you for one of These little beauties!. Of course, you want to make sure that you get a pay as you go one, otherwise they'll rack up huge bills texting their mates...

We bought an extra-large one for our dogs, but you know what these greys are like....legs everywhere and they DO like to stretch out...ours is definitely not big enough for both, but our two are pretty greedy when it comes to beds..they like their own! We are also considering getting another...it's just a question of where will WE go !

happy shopping !

When phoning home, I might sometimes say to Steve "put Pearly or Harry on" but I'm only joking. I am! Honest......

While surfing and dreaming of a christmas with a pooch to spoil I came across this web shop. Some really nice handmade leather collars.

LOL Fiona! I'd worry about you if Pearly or Harry answered you, though!

tut, missed out on my "bids" for the dog beds so emailed the seller to ask if she could sell me two without all that fuss.  she said no.  then, i had two emails to give me a second chance on each of them so i bought them at the original price.  what a blessed performance that is !!!

so, now just waiting (im)patiently for two new donut beds to arrive.  ssshh tho, haven't told dave or daisy that they're coming yet !!
