I've been enjoying trawling through old posts for photos and since I don't yet have an adoptee I thought I'd ask to see your favourite photos of your own. This is my favourite of Jasper and his sister Jasmine (she sadly had to be PTS earlier in the year as she developed FIP). Also Jasper cosied up in my duvet.
Absolutely brilliant photos both of you! Love Jasper and Jasmine all snuggled up - they're so beautiful. Do they have blue eyes? What a heartbreak for you when Jasmine was pts - I really feel for you as I know that it's such a hard decision to make. But you'll have lots of great memories of her, I'm sure. And Jasper is there to keep you on your toes.
Katrina - the dogs in your photos are priceless! You've caught them all at their funniest or sleepiest moments. Just brilliant!
BTW - I'll show you mine when I've got some decent ones to show!
Someone hold me back! I'm sure I can find a couple of pictures lying around somewhere... might have to post separately for each of the dogs as I can't choose a favourite...
Love the puss pics Jenny, gorgeous both of them. Great idea to gather a few photos together. I'm looking forward to seeing what shows up on this thread.
They are all lovely shots Katrina but I laughed out loud at Missy's goofy pic.
Yep Jasper does have blue eyes but they are not as intense as some siamese in their colour. I just realised that I only have one pic where you can just about see his eye colour (he's easier to photograph if he's sleeping!!!). This is him with Bridget a Birman who I looked after for 5 months while a friend was travelling. They are having a romantic moment here I think
Its real easy once you have found a good hosting site... don't use Yahoo it doesn't work here. I've just signed up free to : http://www.ekono.net/ and thats how you can now see my pics. Dave has written a thread on how to post pictures in the How to section.
Katrina. p.s. Would love to see some of YOUR pictures.
Jenny - great photo again! I can just about see Jasper's blue eyes - he's a gorgeous feline, but I'm sure he knows that already. Your friend's Birman is lovely too - I'll bet she takes a lot of grooming!
And Katrina - Zak's 'cute' photo is something else! The judges for the 2007 GAL Calendar photos are gonna have a HUGE problem next year!
Aw, everyone's pics are so cute! Your cat is beautiful Jenny. My friend has a Burmese who has bluish eyes - but they turn red when the light hits them, and she looks quite frightening!!!
Obviously, I haven't had my doggy long (less than a week) but I do have some cute photos, including this one, pointing out one of the many design flaws of the Greyhound: their tongues are too big for their mouths, and tend to fall out a lot...
Awwwww, thank you all, I really enjoyed them all. Keep meaning to try and put some on, I will follow Siouxsie and read up on how to.
Lucretia, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a dog with it's tongue permanantly on the carpet, sometimes it dries out a bit yuck! We are always telling Tig to put his ham away!
Great picture of Morse - that floor must taste good? It looks as though he's completely relaxed and his coat looks lovely and glossy, handsome boy that he is!
And Suzanne - Super photos of Murph and Maisie canoodling on the couch! What a lovely pair they are.
Loved Morse's pic with his tongue glued to the floor. Looks like he's settling in well... Our foster Lucy was licking the ice today and we were wondering if their tongues ever get stuck...? If it's a hard winter would we have to wait until the spring to get them back? I reckon that if one dogs got stuck, all the other dogs in the park would be drawn toward the fantastic thing until eventually hundreds of dogs would be attached to the puddle looking slightly worried while the cats gathered around looking superior...
...or maybe not...
You know I have a soft spot for your two lovebirds, Suzanne, and you've captured them beautifully.
I think you are the resident expert in photography Dino, but it is funny the number of people who have said that pic reminds them of the film "Dumb and Dumber"...
Anyway, another one I like to call "The L-shaped Dog"
dredging through old emails...I hope to god this works ...
if so it should be my Murphy JUST after being rescued by Uncle Dave n Auntie Glenda - aged approx 2mths.......- then the lovely Tracey aka Dannyboy took my wee handsome man on & turned him into the biggest sook on the planet!
