Indy was our first dog and our introduction to the joys of sighthounds. She's a real sweetheart who wasn't well socialised when we adopted her from the Cat & Dog Home several years ago but she is slowly learning to communicate with other dogs. These days she can take new experiences like the GAL Xmas fair or Sunday's walk at Yellowcraigs in her stride.
Loves: food sleep playing muzzleball food cuddling by the fire with a full belly soft clean duvets food warm pyjamas
Hates: muddy paws hard floors rain, sleet, wind, weather in general...
Mostly she is still muzzled when we walk her so its rare to get a good photo of her outside.
Just caught these pics as I try to familiarise myself with the Site and the Forum: they're magic!!
What a beautiful dog (and lucky too!) I chuckled out loud when I read that Indy just loves soft clean duvets!! That says it all for me! When I leave this earth, I'm coming back as a 'hound and I'm gonna live with DINOMARTINO!
Once more, a super selection of photos. Indy is stunning! I met her at the Xmas show with Jade, Twiggy and Malcolm and she's a poppet. The first photo of her with those incredibly expressive eyes and outstretched paws is just wonderful! The photos are all really good, but the one with the draped dogs is brilliant! That's just what they do - and I'm not a bit surprised that Keith wants to move in - when he becomes a hoovering hound, of course!
I couldn't resist posting another one... This is the look that had us leaving the Cat & Dog home several years ago with a new dog.... Indy's nickname is "Woo" and this is a woo face! We think she may have a bit of Saluki in her....
Magnificent picture of Indy! She looks so regal - it could be she has Saluki somewhere in there with her black mask (which is gorgeous) and her beautiful eyes (with eyeliner).
I'm not surprised she won you over at the Cat & Dog Home - who could resist her looking like that?
