I probably should have posted something in this section about a month ago, but better late than never right?!

I adopted Billy (formerly known as Morpheus) and he has been a real treat to own. I've lived with dogs all my life, but Billy is my first Greyhound; although he is not the first Greyhound I have ever known. He has certainly been a welcome addition to not only my household but my family in general, and he has settled in with alarming ease!

I live in Aberdeenshire (miles away from civilisation to most of you!) and I live alone with Billy, my African Grey parrot Ralf, and my two Cockatiels Bobby and Rio. Beyond our home, Billy has his two new doggy friends Henry (Cocker Spaniel) and Chloe (Lab/Terrier Cross) who he sees at least once a day.

I'm hazarding a guess that I am the youngest member of this Forum, and possibly the youngest Greyhound adopter at GAL, but surely that can only be a good thing, as I have many years of Greyhound adopting ahead of me!
