Could anyone who sees / has seen press releases for the kennel fund please let me know where and when so that I can incorporate them into the new website.
the articles on the web tend to be summaries of the actual articles that appear in the paper so there should be contact info and some nice piccies in the 'proper' version!
here's the Evening Times article (thanks Dawn) it's included here twice so you can read all the text!!
Charles's interview on Radio Scotland went out on their NewsDrive program at 16:50, if you missed it, you can listen to it tomorrow online, just go to the BBC Scotland website and select 'Listen Again'..
Trei came along with me to the BBC at Queen Margaret Drive for the GAL Kennel Fund Interview. Not that he was required for radio lol Use every opportunity to show off greyhounds and their behaviour I thought
I think the female journalist that met us in reception wondered if Trei could cope with the busy news room. No problems I said.
Everyone made a fuss of Trei but had to dash back to work - 4.00pm DEADLINE was approaching. Anyway after the attention and the offer of water etc Trei sprawled out flat on the news room floor quite content that BBC carpet tiles were comfy enough. ( they remembred me a bit later and I got some water )
He came with me into the recording booth and lay down again while the interview took place - wanted to show interviewer Abir McIntyre that he would not make a sound and ruin the recording.
Trei was concerned that the interview did not last long and he had to get up again.
Can you think of other breeds of dogs that you could trust not to make a noise during a recording.
I've sent a scanned and "giffed" copy of the article to you, Dave. As I said in the email, will look in tonight's local papers too just in case, and forward on any findings.
I was told the other night that there had been a small piece in "Our Dogs" (I think that's the name of the paper - & I'm not sure of the issue date) before the Awareness Day at Langbank. Friends of ours show Belgian SDs & Jim told me over the phone - he is going to put the copy through my door so I'll send you a copy.
Also chap at work comes from Port Glasgow & had mentioned the piece in the Greenock Tilly so will see if he kept it & will send you a copy of that too.
Rachel and Eddie got me a Greenock Telegraph and one of the girls who works with me also brought in the page,so I will send you the spare one tomorrow. I'll also send you a copy of The Herald feature.
