Just thought I'd let you all know how dog number three was getting on. She came to us after the GAL Christmas Dog Show and very quickly won everyone over with her sunny personality. She's VERY affectionate. She certainly seemed chuffed to bits with having a big, comfy bed and, more importantly, company. She's very quick to come and say good morning to us.
She is also thoroughly enjoying playing chases round the garden with the other two however the grass is suffering terribly with it. Are we worried - not a bit! Star has also decided that she likes the name Tigger better so she has become Tigger. She responds much better to that than she ever did to Star.
Tigger is very inquisitive and likes to have her nose into everything. She's a terrible thief and we have had to hide the bin to try and stop her snooping in there. She's discovered that she is a very handy height for the worksurfaces in the kitchen too. Nothing is safe!
For all those of you that remember Dave telling everyone that if they were looking for a quiet bitch, Star was it - she's not that quiet. She's full of nonsense and mischief and loves her squeaky toys. Gets a fantastic tune out of them and you wouldn't believe the number of films and programmes that end with a wide variety of squeaks!
That said, we all love her to bits, the whole family think she's great. We'll try and add a picture sometime soon.
I'm so pleased to hear Tigger (star) has settled in so well with your family & other dogs. Her affectionate side certainly came out that day at the Xmas Gala (I was the one holding her whilst selling raffle tickets). I think it was love at first sight for you. It brought a smile to my face when you mentioned her mischief If I remember right, she is very young, so still a big pup eh?!
Glad she has become a part of your family so quickly. Thats a bit like me, i adopted Millie back in just November/December and feels like she has always been here, i can't imagine what life was like before without her!
Hope you have many happy years ahead with her
Jennifer x
