I'm having a charity day at work on March 3rd to raise a bit of cash for the kennel fund. We're going to have a dress-down day, a raffle, quiz - that sort of thing. I just wondered if anyone had done something similar and could give me ideas of other games/events which would convince my colleagues to part with their cash (not easy!).
Well done Gillian hope you have a fun day. Just take lots of photos of poor greyhounds looking for homes and tug at those heart strings to get them to part with some cash.
We raised some funds for the children I work with just before christmas and simple cake and candy sales raised £75 (even after deducting cost of ingredients) and a guess the teddys birthday raised £25. Don't know if they are suitable.
Well done let us know how you get on.

Thanks for the advice - the cake sale is a really good idea as even the most hard-hearted person in the office won't be able to resist a chocolate brownie!! I'd better get baking...
