Warning to all GAL dogs!!

A warning to all GAL dogs about to chew or steal anything...


Mum took me to the vets on Friday morning and I was nice to all the staff there again and I didnt even complain when the took away a stethoscope and two muzzles I was chewing at the time. Then they stuck me in a tiny kennel... I got a bit bored just sitting there, so decided to chew the lead and harness which they hung on the outside of it..  I dont know what the big deal was cos I only chewed through the straps...the rest of it was still intact!


And..... do you know what they did to me in return????  They cut off my bits down below!!  I think the punshiment was a bit drastic!!


I am pretending to Mum that I havent noticed they are missing......but just to let you know thats what can happen to you if you chew something your not allowed.


Good news is though......not only did I get a new harness and lead, but I also got my very own coat and have been fed on Sardines for two days!  Who said crime doesnt pay??

Presley, what a sneaky way to get sardines.  Do you think it was worth losing your bits for?  You have no bargaining power left.   Oh, apart from chewing stuff you aren't supposed to have!

Fiona, you think my mum has an evil streak, you should see what else they did to me at the vets..............they shaved off about 2 inches of hair on my right leg, right at the front where everyone can see it.  I look like I had too much to drink at a party and someone did it for laugh!!  Thats evil!


And I did tell them....that I cracked the jokes around here!

Presley, isn't that horrible when they shave your leg?  I know i'm a girlie but i really draw the line at shaving my legs - i'll leave that up to my mum cos i'm very proud of my hairy legs.  I, too, had a bit shaved off my front leg when i hurt my back leg - what's that all about eh?


and it just takes sooooooo long to re-grow.  i mean, it's not as if we have VERY hairy legs is it?

now theres an offer Presley!!! mum shouted at me every time I licked my bits after they were chopped off....but surely they cant shout "leave it" if someone else is offering to do it for you?? ....

Hi, Presley, Harry here. Don't worry about stuff to lick, cos you still have the bag your bits were in and that does the job. Not to mention your, urm, 'lipstick'. I can pass many a happy moment cleaning these, and very loudly too. Especially when mum and dad are having their dinner!

Harry my buddie, another great time to pay them back is when Mum and Dad have friends round.....esp when they go "aw isnt he lovely.." Thats your cue to start licking!!!  BUT to have the greatest impact, make sure you give their friends a big kiss once you have done it!!

Hi Presley, DaveTheDog here - you might find that bag thing will shrink in time (mine did) so you'll not have much to lick.  I'm with Harry on this tho - a good loud nosh of the old knob winds up mum and dad so much, it's really funny.  My favourite time for this is bedtime, the whole house is really quiet and the noise i make seems even louder in the silence !!!!!

Dave the Dog, problem is...... I dont know how to break the news to my lovely wee kennel mate.....she a beauty......what Mums done to me, so I think I will try that when the lights are out.....then she wont know whats happened to me and I can just pretend they are still there.
