Well at last baby boy number five arrived. He was born at 5.50pm Tuesday 7th March, weighing in at 7lb 8oz. I do not yet have a name the discussions are ongoing. He was born at home the midwife had been in half an hour previously just for a chat with nothing happening and had to turn around and come back and he arrived soon after. Ian was starting to think he would have to do the delivery!
Anyway I shall try to get a posting up for Genie she is of course doing great. She has all her bandages off, break has healed and she is very bouncy and full of fun. She smiles but has been a bit funny since baba appeared as I have not seen her for 24hrs and I usually do her tea and walks she has been all shy with me, quite funny really.
I am looking forward to getting out with the dogs tomorrow for a long walk as I have just been doing short walks for the last week.
Great news and congratulations to you both on your new arrival it got me thinking, I remember when I had my first son (who is now nearly 17) I was in hospital so long due to complications that my first grey Rusty really pined for me.My family got quite worried about him.
Imagine my surprise when my parents and husband brought him to the hospital to see me. He was so pleased to see me he went crazy jumping about and bit my bum! Bless him he accepted the baby and was a real sweetie.
I hope your family settle again soon and that you enjoyed your walk.
Congratulations on the arrival of boy no.5!! I've got 4 girls and I can't imagine what'll be worse...the raging hormones of 4 girls or all the smelly football/rugby kit of 5 boys!!!
Anyway, all the very best to you and all the family. Here's to restful nights!!!
