Monthly Dog Walk, Glasgow - Sunday 2nd April
Permalink Closed

Hi Folks, Just a reminder that the next monthly GLASGOW Dog walk takes place next Sunday 2nd April

If you haven't been on one yet you are missing a fab day, it's great to see SO many hounds doing their thing! The walk is round the loch in the park which is about 3 miles (of course you could just hang around the car park like some folk gassing for a few hours and drinking coffee....or only go part of the way round!)

WHERE: Strathclyde Park in Glasgow, meet in the first car park on right hand side past the Watersports Centre

WHEN: Sunday 2nd April @ 11am.

SEE YOU ALL ON THE 2ND!.....Remember if you can't make it on the 2nd don't worry, the walks (as last year) will be held on the FIRST SUNDAY of each month at the same location right the way through 2006....

Thanks to everyone that turned up today, wasn't too busy, think the Easter holidays beat us! Still managed just to squeeze over the 45 hound mark so not too bad and the weather stayed good! Will whoever turns up mext month PLEASE remind me to take pictures!! I forgot again only managed to take one, and that was of GAL's latest arrival GLOSS, handed over to us by his trainer today, he's such a lovely boy I figured I'd post his piccie here (check out his 'roman' nose!) Gloss was really well behaved and seemed to really love kids, don't think he'll be around for long and for a dog straight off the track (he WON his last race at Shawfield LAST NIGHT (1st April)) he was really well behaved!..

Gloss looks like a real beauty. Just a shame I didn't make it through today to meet him in the flesh.

Why is he called Gloss though

What a stunning looking lad!!!  Why on earth did his trainer give him up if he was still winning races?  Bet he won't be around for long either.

What a handsome boy Gloss is! I'm sure he'll be in his own home very shortly.

Gloss is so handsome and I love his roman nose, very distinguished, should maybe call him Ceaser (IF THATS HOW YOU SPELL IT)   Nora

Judging by the pictures of Gloss, he is one of the racing greyhounds who has been very well looked after, and a credit to his trainer/owner. What a handsome boy!

He was totally stunning. A real looker. And really well behaved since he just landed in amongst a lot of weird folk with tons of other greyhounds.
