We're both so proud and thought we'd share Tilly's success.  Tilly has mastered lie down and she can sit perfectly!  At first we thought she's never get it but after much perseverence and treats she's mastered them both incredibly quickly.  She looks soooooo proud with herself when she does it - bless her!

Update!


Tilly can now "give a paw" on command! After several sessions where we got through a large number of doggy chocolate drops to no avail, the penny finally dropped and Tilly gave a paw for the first time.


She was so pleased with herself that, on the next attempt, she presented us with her other paw, which she promptly hooked over the edge of Andrew's freshly filled pint glass (full of Magners irish cider) and tipped it all over the floor. However, being the helpful soul that she is, she kindly helped to clear it up before we could stop her - well, she is Irish!


Her best command though is still "lie down, stay on your bed and go to sleep" which we don't even have to ask her to do!

how nice it must be to have a clever dog !!!  very well done to tilly  


our daisy will sit - but not on command   dave can't even master the roach, tho he does try.  he just keeps falling off his back onto his side !  lol

What a clever girl, Tilly is! She knows now how to get herself a nice long drink of cider too. Vegas will not give his paw for a treat, but he clubs you with his paw to get attention, a cuddle or just to remind you that he's there and wants a bit of whatever you're eating.
