Ok Folks - After the success of our 1st ever EDINBURGH Hot Dog Show, I am hoping to break our record of 40 dogs at our regular monthly dog walk on 30th July 2006.
As we have said before, if you've not been along to our Edinburgh Walk before, then it really is worth it - it's a great opportunity to have a good walk, chat and meet other lovely hounds.
WHERE: Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, meet in the St Margarets Loch Car Park (thats the Meadowbank end of the park!)
WHEN: Sunday 30th July @ 12 noon.
Carole Robinson and myself (Siouxsie), will be present in the car park between 12 - 2 to meet and greet. (*just a wee note to say the majority of walkers start off on the walk by 12.30)
Looking forward to seeing you there. Hope everyone has a great time!
If you need further info on our Edinburgh Walks please email me - siouxsie@gal.org.uk
It is raining here just now - but i have checked the weather forecast for tomorrow and it says it is going sunny (no rain) just cooler temp than what it has been recently.
A great turnout again especially as it is in the middle of the summer holidays, so a massive BIG THANK YOU to all the folk that came to the walk today.
There was a lot of enquiries - so everything is crossed that we will have a few success stories in the near future.
All hounds were on their usual best behaviour (done us proud ) we prove everytime what wonderful companions these make.
Photos shall be posted later on - so watch this space I have a confession to make I was extremely busy with enquiries today that I didn't manage to take any photos - but I am sure Landess took some
Ye we had a really nice time and the weather was lovely! Ted may have found himself a girlfriend- Dave my mum filled in the online application once we got back! So is that 3 applications-great!
I should have added earlier with a special Thank You to Landess & Nicki for being so great at this walk and all the previous regular monthly Edinburgh Walks
We had a great walk today. The Edinburgh walk has such a nice laid back feel helped by the stunning surroundings. We all sat on the grass in the sun chatting for ages after.
Poor Siouxsie really was busy today with families queing up to find out more info. She sent away alot of happy, excited people clutching application forms so as she says fingers crossed, and well done Siouxsie.
I'm pretty new to posting photos ive just tryed to do them and some were massive and some were so small you couldn't see them so i'll have to try and resize them before I post them

If you get a free account a photobucket.com you can upload photos and then copy and paste the [img] link into your message on this site. It also allows you to resize by offering 75%, 50% and 25% of the original size.
Thanks Kirsty, Siouxsie helped me set up the photobucket account but we think its my camera or the software I am using to edit the photos that is causing the differences in size.
I had about 8 photos loaded on ready to show but then my computer crashed so I will have to wait till kids go to bed tonight and try again

Fantastic photo's..All the dogs look like they had a great day. Sassy looks really big in in the pic with Rosco, must be the camera angle, and it's lovely to see such a happy grin on her face
who's a clever girl then? Never quite managed the photo thing myself.
I have to say (and I wouldn't want it any other way) but us humans look a bit like the "mother" in the Tom & Jerry cartoons. Think about it - legs only!!
