...does anyone else have any bother making a donation through the GAL donation site? I never seem to be able to make the final connection to process the payment - I get to the bit where I'm supposed to calculate postage, then it always but always times-out and the connection is lost. Oddly enough, though, it's absolutely fine through the Kennel Fund site and have no problems at all.

Glenda/Dave - are the two donation methods/sites different?

Has anyone else had any problems?

Hi Fiona, they are both the same - only difference if they both go to different bank accounts..We've had donations through both channels in the last few days...anyone else having problems??

Waiting on wages going in to my account next week to make a donation for Simon and i was going to use the GAL site rather than the kennel fund so will know then how it goes for me.

I used the donations, and it went thru to the GAL shop, just showed no merchandise, no postage, so it means I can use the credit card.  No real probs here.

I've had no problems donating.  I go thru the Kennel Fund site, via the donate route.  It's been ok.  That is, assuming my money reached its destination - it definitely left my bank account via my debit card.

Want to donate to GAL and make sure they receive more of your money ....... send them a cheque!!  Each time paypal/nochex etc is used GAL are charged a fee! .....  Am sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong on that score!!
