The stripey one - aka Tigger - was brilliant on Saturday. I took her for a walk along the main street to see how she'd react to the hordes of people and pipebands that are Cowal Games. She took it all in her stride and had a tail wag for everyone. She was a wonderful ambassador for greyhounds as she was very friendly and gentle with all the dogs she met too.
Wills and Millie stayed at my gran's house because they do not like the crowds and noise.
Sadly, Tigger was less than well behaved when she got home. I was sitting watching the television when I heard some strange noises coming from upstairs. On investigating I discovered that she had decided that the mattress for the sofa bit of the futon in the spare room was a large toy and had gutted and partially de-stuffed it! Gave her as much of a row as I could manage (I find it very hard to stay cross with those wee faces).
I know what I'm going to be doing before Graeme comes home on Wednesday. I've been putting off trying to sew up the hole but will give it a go tomorrow night. Once it's done and the mattress turned over, he'll never know!
Tigger has just de-stuffed the mattress again! Fortunately it was before I had tried sewing it up. She's now hiding in her bed. She came through a couple of times while I was sewing, took one look and sloped off in case she got told off again.
I've just put it back on the base with an old sheet over it (stitched side down naturally) and you'd never know. Graeme should be oblivous until we move house again!
Huh, told off - yeah right! None of them ever look particularly worried when I tell them off! Never lasts long either.
Lol Poor you. When we first got Sunny she shredded up the foam inside the sofa cushion. I just put it all back in and zipped up the cover and Steve was none the wiser........until last week when we got new sofas and he was putting the other ones out. Then he said "why is there a massive chunk of foam missing?" I'd forgot all about it and just played dumb (ok thats not hard for me). He's still none the wiser. So good luck with Graham.
Sunny and Tigger are related (think Sunny is Tigs Auntie) and Sunny loves pulling the stuffing out things, so fingers crossed your not back re-stuffing that mattress a third time.
Landess and sunny
