Poor Graeme - he's just spent the last two weeks trimming trees and shrubs, cutting the grass and generally tidying up the garden (I was at work all day - my excuse and I'm sticking to it).
This evening the bold Tigger wanted out and when I opened the door, she went ballistic! Dunno how many laps of the garden she did but I was knackered just watching her. How she manages to get up to full speed in such a short space of time never ceases to amaze me but it's great to watch. Don't think Graeme would have been too chuffed if he'd seen the huge clumps of grass flying through the air as Tigger went bombing round the garden.
We have no grass left now. Dave and Daisy churned it up so much (and brought the resulting mud into the house) that we've paved it over. Life is so much easier !! I hate gardening anyway.
We used to have grass but now we have a lovely landscape of patio and rockeries and shrub borders and lots of pots. There's still a little bit of lawn though cos the dogs like lying on it in the summer. Not that everything revolves around the pointies, of course.......
We've been trying hard to hang onto the grass because the garden was so pretty when we moved in. We'd just nursed it back to something resembling a lawn (after Tigger had dug it up, left a brown racetrack round the tree in the middle and the scorching it suffered from toilets).
Will see how it goes. Slightly easier in that Millie doesn't like going to toilet in "her garden" and will hang on until we go for walks and it looks like Tigger is going the same way.
