Something most greyhound and lurcher owners enjoy and have in common is walking dogs and talking dogs well! what better way than at a great location such as Holyrood Park this Sunday 24 September at 12 noon!
This is a fun informal activity where like minded people can get together to discuss all things four legged and exercise the pups at the same time.
WHERE? Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, meet in the St Margarets Loch Car Park (the Meadowbank end of the park!)
After the weather of late - I thought i would check up what it was going to be like for Sunday and the forecast is sunny intervals (so lets just hope they get it right tafter the strong winds we have had lately).
Even though Holyrood is a lovely place for a walk in whatever weather
Sorry will not make this walk again, bummer. Nice to see you today Fiona, sorry we never got a chance to talk much ( think my customer was getting a bit annoyed) LOL, just hope that Pearly is on the mend soon. Nora

Okay the bbc weather forecast during the week was rubbish.
A really BIG THANK YOU and also well done to all of you brave souls that came out on the walk today. the weather was awful.
Took some photos so I will post them later.
and all you lightweights that didn't venture out for the walk today, your hounds were still needing walked and you would have had the company of a dozen or so more hounds with soaked owners - only kidding - I completely understand
Right - no funny today. Two greyhounds who ended up looking like drowed rats and me, well I had the indignity of looking like Alice Cooper by the time I got back to the car. Must remember the WATERPROOF mascara next time.
Still, nice company and the dogs needed walked anyway - would have been the same rain in Livingston.
I think she's saying: "It's raining, my hair's all soaking, I'm cold and wet, Janie's in a huff with me for making her go out in this, and to add insult to injury I've trodden in some non-greyhound poop!"
BTW, who is the little fawn and white poppet in the 5th piccie down? So cute!
I feel utterly shamed now. I planned to bring Mason along and decided it was just too wet, we opted for soakings down at Leith Links instead - closer to home and warm towels. Now i've seen the photos of braver souls I promise I'll toughen up for the next one!
I think that she is saying “I can’t believe that it was so wet that it even got inside my wellies”. I was certainly saying something similar myself at the same time.
Our feeling was that it was the same rain if we walked at Holyrood or closer to home. It was good to get Zak out and in amongst other dogs.
