Hiya All My wife Helen and I are fostering Jazzy a blue brindle boy who had to have his tail removed before we fostered him and when he went to be dressed also had to lose 8 teeth. The joy we have had watching him overcome these hurdles and settling into his foster home with Millie Dylan and Kiera.
Today I must tell of the big race up and down the stairs between Jazzy and Millie with vocal support from Kiera at the top of the stairs. I was on the computer and all was at peace when all of a sudden the two of them started all the jerky playing motions before bursting into life and racing several times up and down the stairs. I thought maybe time to take them a walk to run off the energy. Whenever Jazzy hears the rattle of a lead he jumps all four legs off the ground excitedly, even when he has his lead on and the others are being done the excitement in his jumps are nothing short of Olympic!
The madness resumed once we reached the field where all four of them can get a run around in relative safety. He is a magnificent dog, brilliant character, endless love and affection, and lots of youthful play to be had with whoever homes this lad. I must try to get a photo or video clip of him and Millie at thier game.
All the best for now from the Balloch gang (Dylan Millie Kiera and Jazzy) xxxx not forgetting us people Lindsay and Helen xx
Well folks thats Jazzy away to his forever home in renfrew with Tiffany and her kids. He looked rather excited when he was being driven away. It broke our hearts but we were happy to see him contented. Millie our wee tiger Brindle bitch was totally besotted by him and whimpered as he was leaving. She just lay all afternoon probably thinking of what might have been We are going to have a wee break from fostering but we will resume soon. To anyone who has not fostered a dog or are considering fostering its a great experience. Seeing a dog or bitch settle into a happy home pet is great. Its sad when they leave you but they are going to the next stage in thier adventure too thier new home. If your dithering go on give it a go. All the best to Tiffany and her new adopted boy Jazzy
So glad that Jazzy has found his forever home, well done to you and family for taking the time to give him the chance. I read your little bit about fostering and the buzz you get from it seeing that dog going off to his/her new home must be a great feeling if satisfaction. Good Luck to Jazzy. Nora

What a great job you've done fostering Jazzy and getting him ready for his new home! I'm sure Millie will get over him soon - I feel sorry for the wee poppet. But it's great news for Jazzy - what a lucky boy!
