Monthly Dog Walk, Glasgow - Sunday 5th November
Permalink Closed

Hi Folks, bit of a belated short notice type reminder this month, but hey we've been doing this for 2 years now so if the First Sunday of each month ain't imprinted in yer heads by now you need some sort of flash new personal organiser for Christmas....

SO, this Sunday see's our 21st monthly dog walk round Strathclyde Park in Glasgow, I only mention 21 cos it's my age

Usual time and place which means 11am in the First Car Park on the Right Hand side past the Watersports Centre, it's 4 miles round the Loch or 3 hours gassing to me in the car park about dogs, you decide.

See you all on Sunday!

Hi Dave,

Dug and Lu have missed out on a few of the recent walks because I've been working all sorts of mad hours, but we will be there on Sunday.

Regards,

Timmay has a sore shoulder and has been instructed by the vet only to go for short walks. So we won't be joining you this time.

Have fun everyone.

Dave, you have some imagination.  Almost as good as mine when it comes to fabricating an age!  But after the ceilidh I could not get away with anything under 70!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be there with the obligatory flask and digestives.

blomin cheek..

Thanks to everyone who turned up yesterday, was a bit cold and blustery but hey it's Scotland in the Autumn, the doggies certainly seemed to enjoy themselves particularly wee Dixie who's the only dog I know to have stood up to (and won) a growlng match with Max, was also good to see Tyler yesterday. Finally particular thanks to Katrina for bringing along Zak and allowing him to pee on Joyce's leg, least it wasn't me this time round...

Was bad enough having my leg peed on!  But when someone (who shall remain nameless) suggested my leg must have been mistaken for a tree trunk!!  Well, honestly!  Just as well I've got a good sense of humour.  I'll be giving Zak a wide berth the next time I see him.

Well CHEERS and THANKS Dave.... I was embarassed enough !

I have NO IDEA why Zak has taken to peeing on folks legs or how to stop it other than dragging him (IF I spot him) away before he sprinkles and have been considering perhaps not coming on the walk again as its the only time he sprinkles people.

Joyce - I am SO SORRY (he got me too !) and Zak says sorry too.
