Went for a run yeasterday first time in a month. Feeling rather unfit but to add to my sore legs I got a bitten ankle from a blooming yappy Yorkshire terrier. Owner just said ohh sorry about that in a light hearted way but did nothing to correct the dog. I wasn't hurt but that is besides the point I am so fed up with little rat dog owners thinking it is ok for their dogs to behave like this and not have to muzzle them. Rant over I'm off to try and claim back some of the living room from dog and kids christmas clutter.
Don't blame you for having a moan about what happened and i totally agree.......Can you just imagine the fuss the same owner probably would have made had it been Blue who nipped him!!
It's always been the same though......large dogs get slated for everything and branded "dangerous" and the wee ones get away with murder. I have been bitten three times in my life and every single time it was a small dog.
Little monster biting you ankle like that, no wonder I do not like yappy things. My incident was walking along the beach chatting away to a Ridgeback owner while the dogs were playing together and the next thing I knew, was me flat on my back in the sand after being bowled over by the very excited 9 month old Ridgeback. The owner could not apologise enough, strangely have not seen her since. LOL Nora

No wonder you're having a rant Amanda. I have had a few encounters with Yorkshire Terriers and other similar yappy dogs and they are a nightmare. I don't blame the dogs, the owners are always worse
Glad you weren't hurt.
Good luck with the training, and trying to claim your living room back - I tried yesterday and failed, so am going to try again later

Just out of curiosity Amanda and Jane, What is a living room????????? Is that the thing buried under mountains of empty boxes that babies seem to enjoy playing with more than new toys!! And that's only after you have managed to wrestle the wrapping paper from them
