Update on Willow
Permalink Closed

Hey, just thought i'd give a wee update on Willow. Im so glad i decided to keep him and have never regretted it for a minute. He is such a gentle wee boy. He has fitted in to our routine from the first day he arrived. For a dog who's spent most of his life in kennels he's done remarkably well. He is spotless in the house, never once had an accident. He is such a cuddle monster and loves nothing more than getting up on the sofa beside me or cuddling into Millie on my bed

He is great with all other dogs he's met while out walking. He has a slight issue with small dogs ie smaller than a ****er spaniel. My friend has a ****er but he's fine with her, but there has been a few occasions when ive been out and he's got a bit excited when he's seen small dogs such as westie's or scotties. He is getting better and met a yorkie last weekend which he fine with. I think its just becuase he hasn't seen dogs that wee before but in time i think he will be totally fine. His recall was nil to start with so hasn't been off lead much but its getting better. He is slowly realising that his name is "Willow" which is making it easier. I practise his recall when he's on a long lead and he's defo getting better. I have never met such a loveable, gentle dog and hopefully will have many happy years together

He's very small for a male as he is tiny compared to Millie He's a dainty wee soul and i love him that way

Jennifer I had totally missed the post you did to say you were keeping Willow (sorry put it down to a blonde moment or a break down from moving house just before Christmas ) Thats really fab news and he couldn't ask for a better home. I love the photos of him snuggling Millie. His coats looking fab from when i saw him last. Well done.

Catch up with you soon.
