Monthly Dog Walk - Glasgow Sunday, February 4th

Hello Everyone,
Just a reminder that the next GAL Glasgow Monthly Dog Walk is this coming Sunday, February 4th!

If you haven't been to one yet - you are missing a fun time out. Hopefully the weather will be nice so you can see all the wonderful hounds! We should have a few homeless hounds from the kennels there so if you are looking....

The details are as follows:

When: Sunday, February 4th (how many times can we say it?? :) )
Where: Strathclyde Park in Glasgow, the walk will start from the first car park on the right hand side just past theWatersports Centre. While to walk around the entire loch is 4 miles - don't worry you don't have to go that far if you don't want to.
Time: 11am.

There is no set plan for the day however, there will be a number of GAL volunteers (wearing new vests?!) in the car park from 11am - 2pm.

Will do my very best to be there.  Seeing as Graeme is having a day away to see football on Saturday, I think I'll try and bring the doggies down.  I've not managed to get to one so far.  Is the parking in the same place as the GALa parking was?  Think I might just about find it.

Yes, parking is the first car park past the Watersport Center!

Hi Folks, obligatory piccies from the walk today, huge turn out for our first Glasgow walk of 2007 so thanks to everyone who turned up.

Scunnered that I didn't make it through.  Had fully intended to get there but had a minor problem here that needed sorted out.  Will try my VERY hardest to be at the March one!

It was a great day.  Josh and Snow both looked fantastic.  Indiana managed to be the worst behaved dog at a GAL event yet again...  Ah well, maybe there will be a prize for that at some point!

Not sure that Zak wasn't trying for that prize as well.  Usually he walks very nicely on the lead and Tara is the one who pulls, but on Sunday I had to swap him for Tara as he was pulling too much.

oooooohhhhhh I want Snow. (yes the dog not the white stuff) If only, no way i can have dog number 3 with reasons i wont bore you with.   Don't think it will take her long to find a home.

Love the vests.   Siouxsie will you be modelling one at Edinburgh next month. I'll have my camera ready.
