New tattoo....

At the risk of turning the forum into some sort of tattoo showcase, I thought you might like to see Paul at Kaya's latest masterpiece..... a tattoo of our last dog, Eeyore:

It hasn't quite finished healing yet, but I couldn't wait any longer to show it off!

One word of advice: if you're built like I am (i.e., all skin and bone - despite eating like a horse) I highly recommend NOT having a tattoo done anywhere near your spine because it smarts a bit!

Andrew.

Nice tattoo.  I love tattoos of peoples pets.  Its a very personal and permanent  way of remembering them.

beautiful image - really lovely.

"it smarts a bit"  - you're having a laugh. talk about the master of understatement - i yelled all the way thru mine and it's only a blue rose, nothing like as detailed as yours !!!

how long did it take?

It took 2 hrs to complete.

As for "smarting a bit", my face was similar to the one in Neeroz's posting for pretty much the entire to hours!

Glad you like it.

Fantastic Tattoo Andrew, and you are braver than me, i was fine with the one on my arm but bottled out of the idea of getting one anywhere near my spine.

it looks great though so the pain must have been worth it
