I'm back home again now and how lovely a greeting it was from the two dogs. They seem to bring out the best in each other somehow, which is a good thing as I think Tess has a naughty trick or two she could teach Daz.
I'm growing used to how to divide my cuddles with the two dogs
I'm also getting used to looking at the world through Tess-nose sized smears on my glasses as she loves a proper kiss. ;)
Today we made the decision we'd like to keep Tess as our dog. Yeah, right, I know we were the last to know and you folk all guessed us a week ago
Well done on deciding to give Tess her forever home - we all knew you would!!! They look gorgeous together and hope you all have many happy years together - looking forward to hearing all about their escapades and lots more pics!
Debbie
Ps You'd better get some glasses cleaner Kathy! We have a similar problem with our lounge window but instead of kisses it's Tilly snot from her having a nosey at the neighbours!
hehehe, I knew you'd keep her. She's just too beautiful to give up !! As for cuddling two dogs - don't you think one in each arm is just a well-balanced family!
Good job there are two of you as, when you get the third, you'll need an extra arm !
Brilliant news...Congratulations on your new Permanent addition, they make a lovely pair and seem so happy together. Can't wait to hear more about their adventures
Congratulations on the new addition to your growing family. Tess looks as if she has been with you all her life and such a bonus for Daz to get a girlfriend I wish you many happy years together, it was fate! Nora

Congratulations Tess! Of course it was meant to be, sometimes it just feels so completely right. The twosome look great together! Wishing you all a long, happy future, Fiona
Thanks for everyone's kind comments about us keeping Tess. She has settled in extremely well and has really taken to Daz. I guess we always planned to keep her and the only reasons we might not have were if she and Daz didn't get on, or if we couldn't stop her showing interest in the rats. She's fine on both counts and I think Daz likes having a companion of his own kind.
"She looks quite petite - is she a diddy wee thing?"
She's a bit smaller than a small pure greyhound bitch but proportionally stockier, so she's a lot bigger and more heavily built than a whippet. She looks a diddy wee thing in the pics with Daz 'cos he's a great big enormous black greyhound!!
