Introducing ANNIE!!!!
Permalink Closed

Hi All

This is my first post so I hope it works!!

I am now the proud owner of my beautiful 3 year old Greyhound Annie - who I adopted from Bothwell Bridge about 6 weeks ago (well I fostered her initially and failed miserably after about a week!!)

She is now a permanent member of our family and we love her to bits and can't imagine life without her. (Although I'm sure my white carpet wouldn't miss her.... he he)

I have (hopefully) added some pics which will no doubt show you why we love her so much.  The only problem that she has created is that we would now love another one - oohh dear where will it end????

Thanks for looking

Sorry no idea why the pics are so small???

The photos are fantastic, she is beautiful. No wonder you are tempted to get another one already. Love the one of her on her back. Wishing you all the best with Annie, and here's to the next one.

She is gorgeous.  Our cream carpet in the living room only survived 4 weeks before being substituted - but it's worth it!

Welcome to the forum Jacqui. Annie is stunning and has a very cheeky wee look about her. Look forward to meeting you both at one of the many GAL events.

She's absolutely adorable, we know what you mean about the carpets, we're off to Morrisons this morning to hire the industrial cleaner, our carpets are wrecked but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Annie is such a cutie How can people not like the black ones, she has such a cute little face.

It dosn't take long for you to start craving another one Although I don't know if that white carpet will last long with two greys. When Zoe came along my lovely cream rug soon went to carpet heaven although I'm sure she did it on purpose you could see her laughing at me as she trotted all over it and washed her face on it. Wouldn't have it any other way

As you can see Annie is still busy doing the greyhound thing!!

And I've finally worked out how to make the pics bigger!!!

Welcome to the forum,
I agree with all the comments about them being addictive though! I wonder how long you'll last with just one!Just don't let Dave hear about even considering a second one otherwise before long you'll have a whole pack. That's why I live all the way down here - well out of harms way ...
Didn't anyone warn you either  - you need to change all your lovely carpets and furniture for dark colours! You'll also be hoovering forever with a black dog on a light carpet! But they are so worth it in a million different ways!

Hi Jacqui and welcome to the forum Annie looks lovely, no wonder you failed miserably at fostering, how could you resist, if she looked at you like she has in the photos - irresistable

Hi Jacqui

She's gorgeous and very like our Kiera. I can totally understand why you're thinking of getting another greyhound. They are so addictive - we've got 3 greyhounds (we are fostering one) and a lurcher. Each dog has their own unique and wonderful personality but they still all fit together like pieces of a jigsaw. I wouldn't mind having a very very large jigsaw puzzle

Here's to many many happy memories with you and Annie and dog no 2!!

Love
