Just a reminder everyone that this coming Sunday is the Monthly Dog Walk!
If you haven't been to one yet - you are missing a great time! Last month was quite a fun time with all the lovely dogs out parading around - and this weekend -weather permitting- it can be fun too!
The walk around the loch in the park is about 3 miles but don't worry you don't need to go all the way around it if you don't want to.
Here are the details:
When: Sunday the 4th of March Where: Strathclyde Park in Glasgow, the walk will start from the first car park on the right hand side just past the Watersport Centre.
Time: 11am
While there is no set plan for the day - do come out and meet our "In-Charge" Gal Iluska Sandor modeling for everyone our new Bright Red Bibs! You won't be able to miss her and if you have any questions feel free to ask her!
I will also be there with a small selection of shop goodies - if anyone is interesting in something in particular, please drop me an email at shop@gal.org.uk and I will do my best to bring it along on the day.
See you on Sunday and fingers crossed for a nice day
Hope everyone enjoyed the walk today! We were planning to be there - we actually got half way there when the road ahead of us was closed! We were given a diversion sign and turned around .... however, there were no further diversion signs and when we looked at the map we realised that we would have to travel back to Kilmarnock to pick up the A77 - giving us a longer travelling time than we normally do! We decided not to head to Strathie, but thought we would take the dogs for a walk on Irvine beach instead......
We arrived at the beach and the tide was right in - there was no beach to walk on!!! Grrrrr, by this point we were all fed up & decided to come home. We arrived back, opened the boot & Eddie had puked all over the boot of the car!!!
Ever wished you'd stayed in bed ......

Great piccies Yvonne, looks like the rain stayed off for your walk. I was down at John Muir with mine and got soaked in the downpour!! What lovely markings Josh has
Having not been on a walk for quite a while it was lovely to see so many gorgeous hounds today. They all looked like they were enjoying themselves, even with the rather "nippy" walk back to the car park.
