G.A.L. VACANCIES - YOUR COMMITTEE NEEDS YOU!!

As I'm sure you are aware, GAL is run entirely by a team of unpaid volunteers and many of you have been generous enought to donate your finances, time and energy in supporting the charity over the years! We thank you for your loyal support and help in maintaining and growing GAL and helping us to rescue an average of 200 dogs each year!

We currently have a number of vacancies within the organisation and would like to make an appeal to our members and supporters, many of you who perhaps have skills and time to offer in helping us continue in our work.
Without the help of our volunteers there would be no GAL and that would of course have devasting consequences, undoubtedly resulting in the loss of life for so many wonderful dogs.

The positions that are vacant are as follows:
1) Vice Convenor - Committee position
2) Treasurer - Committee position

The above roles are vital to the organisation and need to be filles as soon as possible.

3) Online Kennel Fund Co-ordinator
4) Volunteers for task such as transporting dogs, home checking and taking homeless dogs to events.

If you feel you can offer us any support, please come forward to help, your assistance is needed, appreciated and will enable us to move forward and continue to rescue and re-home Greyhounds and Lurchers across Scotland!

Just bumping this to the top as it is very important and we really need more hands as Linda has listed.

Many hands make light work, so hopefully everything is thinking about joining the committee!!
