A bored whurcher - gets his freedom!
Permalink Closed

No doubt this boy is bored, only 2 more sleeps until his stitches come out.  Wound looks good.  I've almost given up trying to pick up the stuffing from all the toys he has destroyed in my effort to tire him!  He is more naughty than usual - grabbing my slippers (when I'm wearing them of course) barging on the stairs, stealing socks (not done this for months) stealing off the worktop (not done this for months).  So those stitches are coming out on Wednesday or I'll need to look for those nail scissors..............

Looking good!! He seems to be getting over his wound and I wish him all the best. Stealing slippers eh? We've got one like that. He has a thing about Gran's slippers. He also stole Gran's dinner on Saturday and tried to look innocent, but the dab of salad cream on his nose gave it away!!

How adorable is he?!!!!  He's sooooo cute and I bet butter wouldn't melt in that mouth!  Glad he's on the mend.  You can just imagine what the speech bubble would say above his head........ "now what mischief can I get up to now?!"

LOL the photo is fab, as Louise says 'the look on his face says it all'

It will be great for both of you when he can run off some of that energy.

Give him a frozen Kong stuffed with broken biccies and peanut butter - will keep him quiet for half an hour. If you stuff the biccies in tightly he'll spend ages trying to get them out.

Dawn - this boy needs no healp with ideas, so tell Presley to keep shtum !
Steve - he gets all sorts of concoctions in the Kong and he's quite clever, as he takes into the kitchen to smash it off the tilled floor!  The only time he is stumped is when it rolls under something and then he fetches me to retrieve, or waits until I come home, and leads me to it.

It's good that a week on he has fully recovered and cheeky, and strange the only toy he has not destroyed is the one with most irritating sound effect!

That face!  He's definately scheming for his next ploy!

Sounds like you've had as much fun as I did with Tigger (following her and Millie colliding mid gallop) and her staples.

It was nigh on impossible to stop her trampolining on the bed/couch, leaping over the arms of the chairs and trashing toys left right and centre.  I'm glad he's back to normal.  Will be thinking of him on Wednesday when he's to get the stitches out.  Big sigh of relief all round eh?

That's a brilliant photo of Biscuit, Valerie! It's as if he's winking at you and thinking what mischief he can get up to next. Glad he's getting his stitches out on Wednesday, so that he can gently get back to his normal run around. I can almost hear your relief!

He looks so mischievious in that photo, a bit like Lulu just prior to getting her stitches out, we found a big empty field, let her off the lead and she went crazy, like all her christmases had come at once lol

Stitches out this morning, and he was ever so good standing for the vet.  Bit of breakfast, then off to the park.  Jumping in muddy puddles, and apparently (according to the owner - "she's never done that") showed a young Staffie cross pup how to get muddy!!!
Wound looks good, as you can see.  Hope that's the last vet visits for a while, as he's been there 6 times already this year!!

The wound looks like it has healed up nicely and will look even better when Biscuits fur grows back.

Allowed to get muddy must have been the best feeling in a while. I bet it was fun to watch too.

keeping everything crossed that no more vets visits for Biscuits for a while.

Glad there was no delay getting the stitches out.  Tigger's vanished in no time and I'm sure Biscuit will be much the same.

Anne, love the avatar - what a handsome dog.

So glad Biscuit is back to his usual self and his scar looks very neat! Bet it was great to see him letting off steam and getting down and dirty in the mud again!

Blimey, it is neat - nice stitching job by your vet. Glad to hear that Biscuit is none the worse for wear after all his vet trauma.

So glad that Biscuit is free to have fun again. Wound looks very neat. Hope hair grows soon.

Laughed at Biscuit leading the staffie pup astray. Our staffie wouldn't even get his feet wet if he could help it.Used to sort of tip toe around puddles and he would stand on three legs if I stopped to speak to anyone in the rain.

The more I look at Biscuit's pic the more that I like it. If it was a competition of "what is this dog thinking?" Reminds me of how I think that I look when I have heard something dodgy and am thinking "Do you really expect me to believe that?"
