Was minding my own business this morning, making my breakfast when this chap appeared on my window sill, he was so tame, i gave him some peanuts and he sat on the patio munching away I had the lining out the boot of my car in the garden to air it a bit and he took some of the lining in his mouth, presumably to make a nest He better not get too comfy coming to the window as one day he might be met by Willow
Thats a funny looking greyhound!!!!LOL. Those are great shots you have there Jennifer the squirrel must have been pretty close and calm. Know what you mean about the greys having taken over Isla, we are also lucky to still have a few red ones in an area near us, and there is an albino squirrel that lives in Gullane and is seen often by the local residents. Until the last picture, that could have been a stuff one and you had moved it to different parts of the garden, just for a laugh knowing you. Then the last picture was a different pose.
Oooh.. Had to look at them again after Siouxsie's comment. Not a stuffed one I don't think.
Hope it's a fast squirrel though! Speedy may like the cats but he LOVES squirrels and can often be found at the bottom of trees looking up - as though they will really fall down! He lives in hope..

thats a hoot! But i see what you mean now i look back
Cheeky chap indeed!!! Tilly goes crazy when she see's a squirrel and just about pulls our arms out of the socket trying to get to it!! That squirrel wouldn't have stayed in our garden for long! We occassionally see red squirrels at Devilla Forest and up at the Hermitage near Dunkeld - they are so beautiful - Tilly thinks they would taste good!
