The GAL Committee would like to announce that we have a new treasurer! Val Rooney (Biscuit's mum) has agreed to come on board to handle the position!
We all would like to give her a big welcome and please let's make her feel at home!

We also would like to thank Dave so much for all the hard work that he did in handling the position while trying to home dogs! I know Dave is happy to have Val on board so that he can concentrate on doing what he really loves - and is good at - HOMING MORE DOGS!  He will remain Homing Coordinator!

Hello Val and Dave  - Thanks for your help with the Treasurer position!!

I'd just like to say thank you to everyone for all the very nice comments, and your support.  Dave and the Committee members have made me feel very welcome, and I'll be doing my best to live up to it all!!
This forum, member participation and wanting to help the dogs is very much part of my volunteering, so I'm looking forward to lots more interaction in the future with you all !smile
