As you've no doubt seen, Dave has stepped down from his post of Homing Coordinator.  I wondered whether the combined weight of the GAL community could persuade him to stay. Okay, so he's already given 6660 man hours and rehomed 621 dogs. But we want more, more, MORE!!!!!    Sign below if you want him to stay!

In the words of that classic 1980s pop duo, Yazoo - can't stop now, don't you know, we aint never gonna let you go, DON'T GO!!! biggrin.gif

Obviously I don't know the circumstances behind Dave's decision but if it were possible to persuade him to stay my voice would definitely be clamouring.

I am with you on this one Fiona as Dave is the BACKBONE of GAL but I am sure Dave has his own reasons for his decision. cry Nora

He will be missed but even super Dave needs to hang up his cape some timecry

I have been constantly amazed at how much he has done.  The hours spent re homing the dogs doesn't include the treasure and convenor posts and the time he spent doing that.

Dave you deserve a well earned rest but hope you don't dissapear from Gal altogetherinvisible.gif

I'll add my voice as well. I'd love you to stay and help rehome more dogs, Dave, but understand that you'll probably have reasons why you can't.

I didn't know Dave was stepping down. I can't think of anyone with more knowledge and expertise who could possibly fill his shoes. Without Dave we would never have got a second dog and therefore never found the wonderful Tigerlily who has enriched our lives immeasurably.

Dave, know that you will be really missed as homing coordinator and if there is anyway we can persuade you otherwise please let us know!
