What? act like the dogs? woof woof!! maybe that would be better if we did as the dogs don't judge people, hold grudges etc etc. The dogs put us to shame

Hmmm....why not get an Avatar of Deadrie Barlow up instead Dave, now that's what I call offensive and REALLY annoying. It's that vein that sticks out in her neck every time she groans on with her sticky out neck like a tortoise. Poor Ken - should have ditched her years ago.
Oh jings, Freddie is dead, the vein is really sticking out on Deardrie now. "Shame on your Ken Barlow, you're not the man I married" she says.
On a more serious note - maybe the forum should ditch lots of the sections that are rarely used (web hits on each section will help you plan that) and ithis will help the Committee in terms of time taken up on the website. Also, could introduce a rant and rave section where folk can blow off steam on any old topic.
By the way, my opinion on the GAL site is that it is the best greyhoud site I've found, although navigation to some of the key bits of info isn't great - mainly how to adopt dogs.
Both F and I were discussing the things currently going on with GAL whilst stuck in a traffic jam today. Can't be easy for the Committee just now - best of luck and you have our support for the sake of the dogs.....but give Dave his bloomin avatar!
Hi Folks, I changed my avatar to Eddie, he was my soulmate for the too few short months I had him, he was found as a stray in Airdrie and handed into the SPCA, they thought he was too unhealthy and old so called GAL, thats when I adopted him, March 2002, he was 15 years old then.
I've posted before on this forum about him and his various ailgments, him and me just hit it off big style, I can't really describe how I felt about him, all I can say is after a few months with him I knew what he was thinking and vice versa. I so remember the lovely walks we used to take through the streets of Edinburgh, he was so streetwise, I never had a lead on him and he stopped at every kerb, by my side, and waited till it was safe to cross. He sadly passed away on the 12th of August 2003.
I've not changed me avatar because I was told to, thanks for all the members support over this one, I've changed it because at this moment in time GAL needs to move on as do we all.
I think your new photo is just brilliant. As they say in the states - your story of him is that of a "Kodak moment" - one to cherish for life! Brings tears to one's eyes... may his memory live on.
