Well the 16th of June will be a very busy day for GAL.

We have been invited to have a dog show at the Linn Park Gala Day - and since it is close to our Hot Dog Show - we will merge these 2 events into one!
We will have our dog show from 12:30-2:30, with dog registration starting at 12pm.  The event will end around 4pm.

There will be the exempt dog show with 8 classes and one for best in show!
We will have a surprise judge - to be announce soon and doggie prizes for the top 3 in each class!

The day promises to be filled with things to do, see and spend time with dogs! I will be posting more information on the classes shortly! If anyone can help out - please email me at linda@gal.org.uk !

yes there will be the 2nd Hot Dog Show in the East for GAL is on 14 July 2007.

I'm sure everyone is excited to hear about the Linn Park Fun Dog show!
The entry fee is £1 per DOG per Class!

The Classes (Rosettes awarded for 1st to 6th place)
Best Female
Best Male
Best Pup ( dogs up to 1yr old)
Best Veteran ( dogs 7yrs and older)
Waggiest Tail
Best Six Leggs ( Dog 4 legs & owners 2 legs!)
Best Family ( Owners with 2 or more dogs)
Junior Handler (Children aged 5yrs-12yrs)

and then Best In Show (All 1st place winners from above classes)

Our old man Dan was going to come and have another crack at best veteran category, but unfortuntely we can't make it as we have a relative who is seriously ill in hospital. Dan was practicing his smile all week as well (honestly, i caught him in front of the mirror the other day!)

Are there any results from the Hot Dog Show or photos?  confused  I've been waiting to see photos from the event so I could admire the gorgeous doggies.  aww

Thanks Claire.  How sad is that, my only interest in life is admiring other people's dogs (when I haven't managed to attend myself)!  Look forward to hearing the results.  biggrin
