the human brain works in mysterious ways...

...not sure how well this will work written down like this so ask whoever is sitting next to you to do this simple maths addition in their heads then let us all know what answer they get..biggrin

take 1000
add 40
now add 1000
now add 30
now add 1000
now add 20
add another 1000
now add 10

what did they get?....

Doing it by mental arithmetic, the brain adds in an extra 900.  The total most get by mental arithmetic is 5000.  Just a bit of fun. biggrin

You know I missed your postings Dave.......not so sure now LOL wink that has just driven me mad.
I kept getting 5000 even when i wrote it down. It took my 14 year old daughter to point out where I'd gone wrong.......how stupid do I feel now LOL biggrin

How strange I got 5000 too then used a calculator when I read that I had the wrong answer lol
