Hi all well I am new to grey hounds and so far I am so in love with their natures.  I don't have any dogs at the moment I am just exploring whether I can give the commitment needed.  I met my first dogs at my daughters work in glasgow when gal brought along a few dogs for a walk.  wow I lost my heart to a lovely boy called tommie I have him posted on my computer as my background. I was hoping that I would be able to adopt him once got my self organised.  I have emailed gal a couple of times asking after tommie but no answer so far.  Well looked today and he is now not up for adoption so I must assume someone has now got a wonderful new boy at their house and does he deserve one.  So if anyone know's how he is doing please let me know.  I am feeling a bit silly for taking so long to make my decision about adopting.  But I know it is a big commitment and I want to make sure it is the correct thing to do for me at this time of my life...

Hello!

I'm in a similar position to you.  I presently have a disabled dog, and would love to take on a greyhound at some point, but cant commit to one whilst I have my wee dachshund to look after.  The right time will come for us, so hang on in there!
