Hello Everyone! On July 29th Dog's Trust will be having their Fun Summer Day at the Tollcross Park, Glasgow and has invited GAL to have a table, literature and dog at their event! It is from 12-3:30 so it wouldn't be too long of a day for the dogs. We can set up between 11-11:30!
Unfortuanately, I am out of town and won't be able to make it - Is there any one available for the time? I would of course have everything prepared for the day. I am only looking for 2-3 volunteers!
Just a wee update to let you all know how the day went. It was a bit of a "have to make do day".
We couldn't get to Rachel and Eddies' due to road works so couldnt get any homeless dogs or the table, collection cans etc. So Naomi to the rescue with her build up camping table and chairs, and me with my garden parasol!! I took along one of my foster's and Annie and Naomi brought her 2 lovely doggies!!
It was a really good day and we had lots of interest, and most importantly Julie and Alan (Macy's Mum and Dad) fell in love with my lovely foster boy Bobby and he is now in his forever home with them and I am delighted (albeit a little green because I adore Bobby ) So all in all a super day!
Also have to add that Naomi found a thing called the Doggie Dash, which was great fun, it timed the dogs running in an enclosed space - obviously we romped in cos we had the Greys!! he he..... So they had loads of fun too sprinting about.
Fantastic news for Bobby. So glad he has a good home. Hope to hear all about him, in his new home with Maisie. . You are doing a great job fostering these hounds. So now, you have another space..............
Well done, Jacqui! It's great news Bobby has found his new home and I'm looking forward to hearing how he's getting on. So glad the event went well too - the Doggie Dash so easy for the greys to win!
Just to say I've seen Bobby out for walks with Macy and his mum, cos they live near me. Biscuit and I didn't go to talk, cos Bobby's mum was very busy talking Bobby thru his walk!
