Animal Rescue Live started today - for some reason the BBC has scheduled the program at 10am! The first program had a brief shot of a lovely black girl Greyhound, plus John Barrowman (Dr Who's Capt. Jack) and his rescue dogs. I'm not sure when we're going to be on, but we are on the list... We'll have to just set the video for 10am each weekday morning.
That's pants! I'm at work at that time of day and I dunno what OH has done with the tv/sky/dvd player/video but we can't record anything! Will have to speak nicely to my mum and step-dad!
Likewise, Karen - my video recorder's getting fixed at the moment! I'm hoping that the BBC has the programme online so that I can watch it at night! I'm not holding my breath, though. What on earth possessed them to place the programme at 10am? Surely the vast amount of viewing public is watching telly from 6pm onwards. It's on every day for 3 weeks.
I saw today's show and noticed Poppy the black greyhound from the Dog's Trust featured. Let's hope she and all the other dogs get new homes soon.
The BBC is also looking for pictures and videos of pets misbehaving. Would be nice if we could get some videos of Greyhounds on the program, maybe smash a few stereotypes.
Claire and I are watching today's show at the moment. Loved Red the Lurcher who escaped from his kennel, then let all the other rescue dogs out as well, then raided the snack cupboard. Also loved Calvin the "naughty" dog who behaved perfectly in front of the camera.
