Well the day has finally come,Carole,Bill,Smokey and Bertie are off on their grand adventure.We have all got our passports ready and in 4 weeks we will be on route to Portugal to live a lazy life in the sun,so should suit all 4 of us.

I really enjoyed my time running The Pet Hotel,and I had some really smashing  dogs as guests,Pearly and Harry,Douglas and Lulu,Blondie,Toot and Macy,Nugget,Biscuit, to name just a few of my favourites and some lovely fosters dogs too many to mention.

All the best to GAL and to you Denise for introducing us to these great dog over the past 10 years.

We are hoping to have access to broadband in a few weeks when we get settled so I will be keeping up to date.

We will be living about 60 miles north of Lisbon and will be having Guest accommodation, so all welcome,dogs too if you like.

I have already been roped into volunteering at a local dog sanctuary,And I do believe there is a little Galgo with my name on it,so I reckon I will be busy.

What a fantastic adventure! Good luck with your new life and keep in touch with news from the Portuguese side - it will be good to hear a different slant on a country and its dogs!
