Wildlife Detectives on BBC 2 tonight at ten o'clock - apparently they're looking at hare coursing. Smashing picture of a couple of muzzled greyhounds on the BBC Scotland website.
Think this was filmed down in our area in East Lothian. Lots of farmland, tonnes of bunnies and previously coursing was part and parcel of the lifestyle for many. And, under the radar, still is I gather.
Dont think its been common up here for ages, but local police were informed of people coursing a couple of weks ago. Saw an ad in the local vet in june for a small greyhound or whippet for stud, thought that was a bit unusual since rescue centres always have plenty lurchers on their books.
