We got back from our holidays on Saturday after seven fantastic days at a very dog friendly site. There were lots of woodland walks and a  large open sandy beach all with in a five/ten minute walk. There was a bar and restaurant on site with a courtyard that dogs could sit with owners, the site is called Barend Holiday Village at Sandyhills in Dumfries. I have added some pictures to let you all have a look. biggrin Nora

Looks great - it's so handy when people recommend places to go.  Gives everyone plenty of choice.  The dogs look like they had a good holiday - sleepy dogs = lots of fun.  biggrin

Fantastic looking place, loved the look of the chalets.  The dogs look so happy and relaxed.
