Your fireside hound is fantastic, I love your collection, sorry I don't have a collection to share. If you decide to go in to production, let me know Anne
I love your collection. You ever thought of selling your chicken wire and plaster hounds? I for one would love to own one and I'm quite sure that you'd have a ready market through GAL. You're very talented.
My collection is ever growing. I haven't photographed it but have an ornament on the television, am one short of the pewter statues that GAL sell, a five prints to date and three or four ornaments on the half-landing.
You have a wonderful collection Nora, I especially love the one you made.
As I have only just discovered the joys of Greyhounds as pets, over the last year, I do not have any Greyhound ornaments as yet. I intend to start collecting soon!!! But I really would love to see other's collections. Marian.
The chicken wire and plaster sculpture is fantastic, you're very talented. We've only got one print on the wall, looks like sally, same artist as one of your pictures (forgotten her name!). I need to get some of Dan and Sally's photos framed and on the wall.
I went and photographed my collection - they're not the greatest photos but it gives an idea.
These are my huggahounds - bought from e-bay. Money was donated to a Greyhound Rescue when anyone bought them too - double bonus!
Haven't got round to framing these yet.
I love this ornament - they look like they're having fun.
This remains my favourite collection - I love the wee pewter ornaments that GAL got in. I love the picture too - everyone keeps thinking it's Millie - it's very like her.
:wow: both collections are amazing and it is only making it harder for me to resist starting my own collection but I must at least for now as my money is being spent on Red. He got a new lead today and a extra long flexi to start doing some recall work at the weekend away from the garden.... hmmmm will need a bucket full of sausage pieces I fear!lol! My daughter has a lovely ortak one which I will get a photo of and post it is very like Red!!! Hint Hint Rob!!! lol

wow love the hound I agree can we have a pattern please please perhaps raise some money for gal with it....
Always happy for new ideas for the shop so if anyone wants to talk about making some of these for the shop I can send you a pattern. They also come in a small size as well.
The pattern is from www.greyhoundcrafts.com I would normally share patterns no probs but since they have done this pattern to raise funds for their charity I would feel bad. Hope you understand? I paid $4.99 for the pdf pattern off ebay Having said that pm me if you have a problem.
Tree I don't know about a knitted pattern. I tried knitting.....you should have seen the jumper I knitted my son like something from pigeon street(remember that?) about twice as wide as him lol
Nora I can even do brindle ones. I was thinking about making some to auction or raffle what do people think?
Claire have you seen Greyhound manor? They have various craft stuff. Ok some patterns are a bit naff but I quite like this fabric hound. Best of all the patterns free!
If I get a fabric pattern, my mums a dab hand at sewing and would gladly run up a few for the shop/ebay etc. I'll ask at her sheltered complex, one of the ladies there is great at crochet, she made the most detailed mice and other animals I've ever seen. Cand I buy a pettern? my skills at the drawing bit are not too hot

Hi Amanda,
Glad to have you back, that was the pattern I was thinking about for sewing. I like the collar pattern as well. Bit tricky to sew and eats machine needles, but worth it in the end.
