I cannot knit or crochet and my sewing skills are good but I,m as blind as a bat and find it difficult to thread a needle, so if you make some Amanda I am putting in your first order for a life size brindle one, good to have you back. Nora

These all look great..i LOVE the chicken wire/plaster one you did..beautiful. I'm currently trying to find an ornament of a hairy Lurcher type..no luck yet though. If you ever decided to make a business of these ornaments, let me know!
If they were for sale in the shop, I would definitely go home with one. Or two. Or three... Stop me! Please! Uncontrollable urges to purchase greyhound related products!
Hi Abbey, noticed your posting a while back but wasn't on the forum Ibought a lovely grey roughcoat lurcher ornament from Jans Gifts she has grey and fawn standing and lying down not too expensive either she sells lots of lovely stuff ,be prepared to spend, spend, spend.!!!!just google jans gifts or jans greyhound and whippet coats and you should find her .Happy shopping.
I've just ordered the crochet greyhound booklet from the site mentioned in Amanda's post. I'll give it a go and see how I get on. Have also bought a book on crochet !!!!
Good for you! It is quite an easy pattern. Anyone else fancy trying it I am quite happy to help out where I can. Nora you are top of the list for my next hound, busy with Christmas stuff at the mo but may start it in the new year
well, i dont have a collection of anything yet but with christmas and my birthday fast approaching i wouldnt be surprised if i dont hae some things to start me off :o)
well, my pattern arrived today - looks like it's written in chinese so I might well be pm-ing Amanda for serious help!!!!!!
I'll give it a good go tho cos I really want to conquer this challenge and have my own woolly lad (I have no idea what the living dogs will think of it !)
Good luck - my gran told me that I'd be fine if ever anyone wanted knitted lace when I last tried knitting! I would imagine crochet would be much the same - in fact it might look like chinese when I finished.

Blue was less than impressed after I had made the first back leg and I had had half a bottle of wine, putting the leg next to his and singing 'he's Blue the peg diddle diddle diddle dum with his extra leg' was just far too embarrassing for him no wonder he tried to kill it when completed.
Woolly now resides on the landing as Blue doesn't go upstairs (open plan wooden stairs not to Blue's liking)
