I have recently found out that J.K.Rowling the author of the Harry Potter books has acquired a greyhound.She is blue and her name is Sapphire and was adopted as a companion for J.K.s  Jack Russell Terrier, Butch. Once again another celebrity with a grey, fantastic for the promotion of greys as pets. biggrin Nora

Hopefully a lot of the older Harry Potter will gain an interest in the breed. I know since I've got my Summer my sister in law was hooked even before J K Rowling got one. She's already laid out plans for when she grows up and gets a job that she's gonna get a greyhound. Fingers crossed this plan lasts and is not just one of her teen phases he he.

yeah - I have just recently adopted Bessie - she was from the same rescue service - celia's greyhound rescue service in fife!! I didnt even know JK had been there - my timing is so bad, I have all the books - unsigned !!

My sister has a first edition of the very first one (not signed) but it's still worth a lot - haven't been able to nick it off her yet!
